For over five decades, the attorneys and staff at Kirsher, Winston & Boston, Siskiyou County’s oldest and largest law firm, have served clients in California, throughout the United States, as well as in Canada and Europe, in matters relating to California law.
After Wray E. Kirsher retired as a lieutenant colonel in the Air Force Judge Advocate Corp, he opened his law office in Mt. Shasta in 1970. Wray also served part-time as a United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of California, a position he held until he retired in the early 1990s.
A few years later, Robert Winston and Robert Boston joined Wray as Kirsher, Winston & Boston.
Upon Boston’s retirement in 2020, Attorney Adam Sanders joined the firm.
Our staff is complemented by two very experienced and capable law clerks, Sara Collins and Erinn Case.
Our Yreka office is located near the courthouse, and available by appointment only. Both offices – in Yreka and Mt. Shasta, have first-floor wheel-chair accessible facilities. (Please contact us for instructions).
As a robust legal practice, we assist clients with personal injury claims, wills, trusts, and estate planning and probate, guardianships and conservatorships, divorce and family law, evictions, easement, boundary, and title disputes, civil harassment, injunctions and restraining orders, general business matters and contracts, real estate leases, sales and development, homeowners associations, corporations and partnerships, public agencies, and litigation involving these issues in California courts.
We do not, however, tax matters, handle worker’s compensation, criminal defense, or bankruptcy.
